The Lowcountry's favourite kitchen surface
Charleston homeowners love the look of luxury Italian Calacatta marble but dread the maintenance, etching and staining that comes with it. Corsica Quartz provides the exact same dramatic flowing veining with zero maintenance.
Because quartz is engineered under vacuum vibration, it contains zero microscopic fissures or pores, making it impervious to bacteria, red wine and food acid stains.
- Certified NSF 51 safe for direct food contact and preparation
- Available in standard and jumbo slab dimensions up to 132" x 65"
- Seamless waterfall edge fabrication with bookmatched corner drops
- Backed by a 25-year residential manufacturer warranty
Answers
Frequently asked questions
Can I put hot pots directly on quartz countertops?
While quartz is heat-resistant up to 300°F, rapid thermal shock can damage the resin binder. We always recommend using trivets or hot pads for boiling cookware.
Does quartz countertop stone need to be sealed?
No. Unlike granite and marble, quartz is completely non-porous and will never require sealing, conditioning or waxing.
How do I clean my quartz countertops?
Warm water, mild dish soap and a soft microfiber cloth are all you need for daily maintenance.
Can quartz be installed in an outdoor kitchen?
We do not recommend standard quartz outdoors because prolonged UV exposure can cause discoloration. For outdoor patios, we recommend natural granite or porcelain.
